Today we’re excited to share some beautiful wedding photography from Laura + Ryan’s Waterloo Region Museum wedding in Kitchener!
Laura + Ryan live in the States, and they found us while they were searching for a wedding photographer in Kitchener for their big day. You might remember them from their engagement session in downtown Elora that we posted a few months back. We had a blast shooting at the Elora Brewing Company and all through the downtown area, in spite of the rain, and we knew that if their engagement session was that fun, their wedding was going to be something special!
Well, after much waiting and Instagram stalking, the day finally arrived for Laura! They had Jonathan come along to provide video coverage as well, so we got to tag team on a really great day. We started with the guys and girls in the morning as they got ready, and soon we were off for the Waterloo Region Museum and Doon Pioneer Village, where Laura + Ryan had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. It was a hot one, but they were smart enough to provide some delicious sweet tea to help keep us hydrated.
After a beautiful ceremony and a walk through the village for some photos, we headed indoors for the party. And what a party it was! From the gorgeous long tables and decor to the choreographed first dance and the delicious southern food, it was a night to remember! Catherine and her team from The Creative Details did an amazing job with the decor, which made our job so much easier! Before we finished up we made sure to sneak outside for some after dark shots in front of the museum, which we think turned out pretty nicely.
Our video associate Jonathan was also on hand to create a stunning wedding film for Laura + Ryan; you can see it on this blog post!
Laura + Ryan, thanks so much for having us tag along on your big day! We wish you all the best in the years to come!
