Today we’re excited to share some beautiful wedding photography from Heather + Mike’s wedding at the amazing Waterloo Region Museum in Kitchener!
A few months ago we headed to Kincardine for one of our most epic engagement sessions ever. The weather was perfect, the sunset was phenomenal, and the location took advantage of all of it. Not to mention our ridiculously good-looking couple. As a result, we were super happy with the results from Heather + Mike’s Kincardine beach engagement session, and were really looking forward to their wedding at the Waterloo Region Museum in Kitchener.
Our associate Jonathan was filling in for Kara again for this one, and he did a killer job as usual. We started with the girls at the Xcentric Hair Studio in Waterloo, where they got all fancy and ready for the big day. Afterwards, we stopped in to grab a few shots with Mike, and then headed to the chapel in Doon Heritage Village for the ceremony. It’s such a quaint little chapel, full of character. The über talented Juneyt provided some fantastic music to accompany the ceremony, and Heather + Mike made it official while their closest family and friends watched on. After the ceremony we wandered the grounds taking pictures, before heading into the Museum for the reception.
We loved the decor that our friend Ainsley at Fresh Look Design provided, which made our job that much easier. We can’t tell you how much of a difference good quality decor by a true professional makes, but you’ll notice it in the pictures. The evening went by pretty quickly, and before we knew it all the dances, speeches, laughter and partying was finished up and we were headed home after a truly great day.
Heather + Mike, thanks for letting us ride shotgun on your big day. We had a blast, and we wish you all the best in the years to come!
